sober andy

i saw my daughter’s play last night. she’s dorie (the part played by ellen degeneres in the animated film). it’s a musical stage version of ‘finding nemo.’ it was superb. she glows onstage. i cried my eyes out just watching her have so much fun up there. i’ve never missed a show that my kids have been in. there were some times i went to their shows not in the best shape. i remember a long time ago arsenio hall yelling ahead to me in the parking lot ‘why ya walking like that andy?’ his kids were going to the same school at the time. mine have since transfered. seeing the show last night was how it should be. i’m going to go again tonight, and tomorrow. all the shows. anyhow, my daughter shines onstage. it is such a joy to watch her. and one more thing. she’s got talent. you will see. maybe she’ll let me post video here.
